8th Annual Unbelievable Self-Indulgence Fest: Lawrence Arms, The Falcon, Sundowner, American Steel
from Punknews.org
The Lawrence Arms The Lawrence Arms, Sundowner, The Falcon and American Steel have announced a tour together. The tour has been dubbed 8th Annual Unbelievable Self-Indulgence Fest.

The six-week tour is not only unique because it’ll be the first time The Falcon and Sundowner will tour the country, but it also marks the return of East Bay punks American Steel.

Of course, the headliners have made a promise that might be a little exciting for a few of you: The guys have been promising to play the occasional song from their older (and more embarrassing) bands like Slapstick and The Broadways. They’ve been listening to kids yell out requests from their teenage bands for years and they’re thinking that throwing the hecklers a bone might shut them up once and for all. For those at this past weekend’s Asian Man Records 11th Anniversary Shindig, you know what to expect as the boys debuted the old songs there.

Dates are expected soon

Drag the River Super Sale (6 CDs, 10 samplers, beer cozies and more)Drag the River, you were one of the greatest bands I know. I will cherish my drunken memories of your late night shows. I will always remember the long road trips where your music provided my soundtrack. I still can’t believe you are gone, but you will not soon be forgotten.

I put together this Drag the River super sale so that everyone will have the opportunity to experience one of the greatest, little Country bands that should have been so much more. In this sale, you get:

  • Drag the River’s 6 CDs (Hobo’s Demos, Closed, Chicken Demos, It’s Crazy, Hey Buddies, and Live at the Starlight double CD).
  • 2 Drag the River beer cozies
  • 2 Drag the River stickers and 2 Suburban Home stickers.
  • a Drag the River / Tim Barry tour poster
  • 10 Drunk Dial Business Cards (we figured that if you like Drag, you are more than likely a boozer and can use the cards).
  • 10 Suburban Home samplers to help spread the gospel of Drag the River and Suburban Home.

We realize that you may have some or all of the Drag the River catalog, but even if you have some or all, what better time than the present to share with your friends a CD or two by Drag the River? Complete your collection and jump start your friend’s collection. These albums are just way too good to collect dust in our house.

We will only be making 100 of these super sales so act quickly. This sale and all of its goodies are only $25.00!

Friday, April 13th, 2007

So i added these ladies on myspace awhile back. I just saw an update that they are on fuzz now. Anyways I just realized that they released their EP independently and you can buy it on their myspace, so I did just that. Anyways it looks like their LP will be released later this year on Asian Man Records.

In perv news, I think the name “The Hot Toddlers” would be pretty awesome
