Hey the New Ams are playing tonite on the bourbon street stage at the big easy. You know the stage that is in the little bar upstairs. Every band that plays there mentions that this is the first time they have played in a chilis. The new record is really good. I dont think I ever really reviewed it but THIS is my note to do that this week.

I am off to the show to get my drink on.

Oh Sweet AWK Will be releasing two new records. How Rad. If you dont like AWK, dont get it, whatever it is…You are way too hung up on the faux drama of sadcore. AWK rocks and puts on one of the best shows I have ever seen. It was worth having to sit through The Used to see him.

So i have been meaning for some time to start writing about gaming. Im not a huge nerd so dont expect e3, tech tv shit here. Just stuff I am interested in.

Anyways the New Super Mario Bros game comes out tommorow and I plan on getting it. I grew up on the original NES and the original Super Mario Bros. Years back everything went from 2d side scrollers to 3d worlds. While this was awesome (remember the first time you played mario 64?) it sucks at the same time. With the rerelease of Super Mario World 2: Yoshis Island on nintendo gameboy, I have been able to get my classic 2d scroller fix. All the other 2d mario games are on the gameboy advance but can be hard to find, especially super mario world. Getting that used anywhere is the same price as new and you cant find it new.

Anyways new mario. The videos look great. Mario goes huge and just tears stuff up. There look to be other new power ups and new baddies. Anyways I will give a full review after I get it and get some game play in.

Glad to see nintendo hasnt given up on the classic sidescroller.

The entire medical system in this country is fucked. The government doesnt give two shits about the people. Too many people dont have medical insurance, the ones who do have shitty insurance with high premiums and little coverage. I believe the people that are involved in medicine; the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, hospitals, pharmacutical companies & insurance companies are only in it for the money. You are reading that and saying, “No fuck Brian” Well of course they are. They should be in the business to help people and better society. We are being bombarded by more and more ads on tv that  show the newest product out there to get rid of ED, irratabke bowels, itchy eyes, whatever. There is HUGE money in every bit of the medicine and these ads back that up. We see more and more of them every year.  Would any of these people be doing this if they werent getting paid what they were getting paid now. To them I say,  take a pay cut of 2/3’s hell make it half, would you keep doing what you are doing now?

Fuck each and every one of you. Open up a free clinic and really help those who need it, not those who can afford it.  Don’t tell me you “donate” a few hours each week to the hospital or some cause, its not putting any sort of hole in your paycheck or your life. Fucking leeches
