so on my trip at some point in pittsburgh I saw a billboard from rolling rock that said if you were offended by out “beer ape” ad send email to and it lists an email address. I had no clue what it was about. Just now I saw a commercial on from rolling rock apologizing for the beer ape commercial.

There is nothing offensive about it. My guess is that they wanted people to go online (their website or youtube) and search out the ad to view it. Smart Marketing. The commercial is pretty funny. See for yourself.

So I am home. Here is the details of my trip.

I left Boise Saturday afternoon and had one stop in denver then off to pittsburgh. I arrived in pittsburgh just before midnight…my luggage didnt arrive. I wasnt the only one. I understand that this cant happen but why does it always happen to me? Why do the employees always act like I have no reason to be upset in the least? Could this be the reason people hate flying and all of these airlines went bankrupt? Maybe not but im sure it doesnt help. Anyways, Rachel had a burrito from chipotle in the car waiting for me. This was her first chipotle burrito and she said she liked it.  We headed back to Morgantown.

Sunday we didnt do much of anything except hang out. My luggage arrived at the doorstep that afternoon. I start going through it and notice that one of the front compartment zippers has been ripped clean off! Great. We hang out the rest of the day and just rest. I think we went and saw the borat movie that night also. It was really funny. I liked it a lot. high five!

Monday we headed in to Pittsburgh.First we went to the Robinson Mall and checked out the vans store. Rachel got me a new hat and a new wallet. Next we went to chipotle to get a burrito. We dont have chipotle in Idaho so I always go when I get a chance. After lunch we went downtown to the carnegie science center. That place was pretty cool.

The first building is 4 stories of science museum stuff plus there is a submarine outside that is docked in the river. You can go all through the sub and see everything. There is also a building next door that is the UPMC sportsworks. It basically shows you the science behind sports. There was some cool stuff in there as well. Not too many kids so it wasnt too bad crowd wise.After that we went to Primanti Bros in the strip district. I had a turkey and cheese sandwich and it was damn good. We also met up with one of my pittsburgh flickr friends. After dinner we headed over to her place to hang out. We came home and got some beer at the store and just hung out.

Tuesday, not much happened. We hung out mostly and did a bit of shopping.

Weds was the worst day. We were leaving to go to her parents house for the holiday and before we could get out of town - BAM we got rear ended by some crazy ass lady. She hit us going at least 40. Our necks and backs were messed up. After a visit to the ER to get xrays and get checked out her parents picked us up and took us to their house in petersburg. We had a sandwich from the local pizza, subs and fried chicken place there. We each took some muscle relaxers and crashed. Now the shitty thing is we have to sleep in seperate rooms when we are there. It sucks but its her dads house, his rules and all that noise and I gotta respect it and just deal.

The next morning we woke up in pain. It was thanksgiving. We slept til

almost noon, woke up and had turkey dinner (err lunch) We then headed out for a drive. We first went to seneca rocks. We went up back through some sort of private road and then turned around. After that we headed to canaan and saw some deer.

Then we came back. We went through some backroad and i fell asleep. When we got back to the house we had turkey dinner and took a nap.Friday we woke up early and headed back to morgantown. We had no car so we were kind of at her parents whim to get us around. This totally sucked for them and for us but they didnt complain (out loud at least). We first had to make the 2.5-3 hr drive to petersburg to get my bags and pack up then we had to make the hr drive to pittsburgh to get me to the airport. I got there and didnt want them to wait around any longer than they had to. I said my goodbyes to rachel, got my hugs and kisses and told them to take off and get home. I shook her dads hand and thanked him for everything.

I had 12 hours of travel time ahead of me plus a 2 hr wait in the pittsburgh airport. I went to my gate and sat awhile. I called rachel to see how she was. I went to go get a beer but the bar was packed and I couldnt get a seat. My plane boarded and I came home 12 hrs later.

so i was browsing AYP and clicked the posters link and saw this. My first thought was, “Wow what an ugly woman” then i figured out who it is. Seriously, who in the hell wants davey havoks giant head hanging on their wall? I know its common knowledge that he emulates danzig to the fullest extent but doesnt this picture look a little danzig-ish too?

I find this a bit ridiculous. 80% of the residents there already own a gun let alone multiple guns. Do they really need to get an ordinance so more people own guns? On local NPR news this morning they said the most violent crime that has happened there recently was 2 years ago and it was a fist fight. Well does this mean the fist fight will now be a gun fight being that everyone is (almost) required to own a handgun? Fucking rednecks! Maybe these people are just looking for more excuses to own guns. “but dear, its the law! and I am a god fearin law abidin man and the law says that we have more guns in the house. We dont know when the King of England could come bustin through our door to take back our freedom. ALL KAY DUH could come through Greenleaf, ID anytime. I heard we are on their radar”

I am sure this is what the government wants, fear is what has driven bush in the past however way too long he has been president. Every speech and statement he makes is based on fear.

I am ashamed to live in a state let alone a country that is so ignorant. I thought America was all about being free, open and accepting. The hjr2 passed. It has ammended the Idaho constitution to read that marriage is defined as between a man and a woman. just fucking ignorant. The only thing that makes this worse is the fact that bill sali will probably win that race too. That man is a retard. More on all this later. I need to sleep.
